What a great event we had last Saturday! 4 great Ryes, WCWS inducts a new member, and good times! We busted out some good bottles for this event!

E.H. Taylor Straight Rye 100 Proof

High West Yippee Ki-Yay 19C20 92 Proof

Parker's Heritage 8 Year Rye 105 Proof

BTAC Thomas Handy 2019 125.7 Proof

This was a blind tasting and the other members ( Wade, Dustin, and I ) did not know the bottles or the order. The order denoted above was the order that 2 of the 3 members thought was the best. The other member had EH then TH then HW then PH. Either way, all 3 stated the E.H. Taylor was the winner. The Parker's Heritage had been in a tasting before but just goes to show you that you really have to compare ryes with ryes and bourbons with bourbons to really get a feel for how good it is. Also an interesting note, the two cheapest retail bottles did the best.
