around 50 dollars and as good as Blantons? Part 2

So we are in the second part of our two part series to see if we can find a bottle on the shelf that's relatively easy to find that's close to how good Blantons is. For this tasting, we have:

Michter's Bourbon Small Batch ( 91.4 proof, $59 )

Russel's Reserve 10 Years Old ( 90 Proof, $35 )

Old Forester 1910 ( 93 Proof, $59 )

Since we killed the other bottle of Blantons in Part 1, we have the Blantons Stones River store pick discussed in "The Battle of the Blantons".

All three of these whiskeys are good, but as far as as close to Blantons profile as possible the The Old Forester 1910 finished first. The Russel's Reserve 10 Year finished second and the Michter's Small Batch finished third. For the value buyer, we should note the RR 10 probably wins because it's almost $25 dollars cheaper than the 1910.
